Don't worry, you will receive consistent ongoing communications from your Home Office team that will keep you updated on the latest tools, information, resources, events and much more. This is just the beginning of a long and prosperous friendship and working partnership as we move forward!
In this email we will address: Time Management, Personal Growth and Leadership. These are extremely important topics in order for you to make your goals and dreams a reality.
Time Management
Make certain that you prioritize your activities and do something every day to advance and grow your business. Consistency is so important. Consistency creates momentum and momentum is sustained through consistency. In addition, make sure that your consistent actions will lead to the best results. A mentor of mine once said, "Do not confuse activity with productivity." In your Vemma business, there are four things that transfer into the most productive use of your time:
Share the Vemma business opportunity.
Share the Vemma Nutrition Program™ and products.
Attend events with a guest. These events include local, regional and national events, conference calls, home meetings, etc.
Promote upcoming events and make sure your team leverages the events by plugging guests and prospects into them.
Ninety-five percent of the time you invest in Vemma should be spent in the above four activities. This will create the best results. Hold yourself accountable and make sure that you are focusing on these "goal achieving" activities instead of "tension relieving" activities (like organizing your home office!) that do not lead to productive results.
Ask yourself, "If everyone in my Vemma business did what I did today, would my business have grown?" If you like your answer, stay the course. If you do not, don't worry about it. Simply make the adjustments and make tomorrow a better day!
Personal Growth
A good friend of mine, Jim Rohn, once said, "Work harder on yourself than you do on your business." This could be some of the best advice you will ever follow.
How can you work on yourself? One way is to learn from people you most admire and respect - people like
Jim Rohn,
Zig Ziglar,
Robert Kiyosaki,
Anthony Robbins,
Brian Tracy,
John Maxwell and many others. Read their books; listen to their audios and CDs. Turn your driving time into productive time. If you make an effort in this area of your life, both your personal and business life will never be the same again!
Set a goal to read one
book a month that will help you improve yourself. I'll be recommending books in our monthly V Magazine. Be sure and check your email for it or visit
vemmamag.com. It'll be loaded with recognition, information, motivation and anything else we can think of to help move your business in the right direction.
Make a commitment to learn, grow and improve every day! Learners are earners and this enthusiasm will duplicate through your organization.
Leadership
Leadership is the key to building a lasting business. First, develop your own leadership skills through your commitment to personal growth. Then create leadership in your organization.
I have learned from experience that the most effective method of leadership is to lead by example. Simply do what you want your people to do. Your actions will duplicate throughout your organization. The lesson for all of us is to make sure our actions are the productive actions that will create success and growth in your business. The best coaching method is to say, "Do what I did."
Next, you need to mentor and coach others and create leadership in your organization. Observe those members of your organization that are taking action every day. Teach them, support them, encourage them, coach them and help them to grow. As you attract and develop leaders within your organization, you have begun to duplicate yourself. This growing leadership team will accelerate your business growth and create a strong foundation that will last.
